Hands down, without a doubt, the best and easiest car buying experience we have ever had. They didn't keep us there all day, found all the incentives for us, were generous on our trade and gave us the best price for our brand new Traverse. When I'm ready for another Truck, I'll be back to buy from them again. Thank you Parker Chevrolet!
This is the third vehicle we’ve purchased at Parker Chevrolet since 2010. The first time, we ended up at Parker as they had the best selection of the Chevy Equinox. That's when we met Benjy Gandy, our salesman. Fast forward five years later, and Benjy began patiently working with my husband when he started thinking about a new truck. Last summer, Benjy located the exact Chevy truck he wanted. At that time, we told him we might be looking to replace the Equinox with something a bit larger. A few weeks ago, I brought the Equinox in for service and test drove a couple of GMC Acadias and then the Buick Enclave. I told my husband that I had found my new vehicle. I looked online and an Iridium Metallic Enclave was on its way to the dealership. Once again, Benjy made the whole vehicle buying process a breeze. Did I mention that we drive about 35- 40 miles to Parker Chevrolet when we have another dealership less than 5 miles from our home? Not only has the sales department exceeded our expectations, but the service department is beyond compare. As loyal customers, we recommend Parker Chevrolet to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle.
I purchased a 2012 GMC terrain in January of 2013 from this dealership, buying process was good. I took my Terrain over for an oil change 2 months ago due to a rattle in the engine, found out that it was 2 quarts low on oil per the dealership. (I own this vehicle and it never missed an oil change) They instructed me to drive it for 1000 miles and bring it back to check the dipstick. I checked the dip stick before taking it back to Ashburn since I live 20 minutes from Ashburn and there was gooey oil and metal shavings on my oil dipstick (on a friday and I didn't drive it again until Monday). Took it over on a Monday they told me to keep driving it until they could get it in on Friday or Maybe the next Monday they said "that the damage was already done and couldn't get any worst." After I refused to drive it off the lot they agreed to get it in Thursday, apparently it is part of the oil consumption recall released in April of 2017 even though I checked my VIN number 3 times on 3 different website. The dealership refused to give me a loaner to drive on monday stating that GM would not pay for a loaner until they broke the engine down on Thursday. Thursday I had to call back over there and was told that the rental place for the car was in Cordele and I would have to drive to Cordele to get the rental which was a car, not a SUV, also that they didn't have anyone to get the car and bring it to me. After already refusing to give me a loaner from the dealership since I bought this car brand new. But the Service manager stated he would try and get my car back to me the next day (Friday). Friday I had to call back (they didn't call me) and he said it would be Monday. I told him if it was going to be Monday my mom would let me drive her car and I could get by. Well Monday turned into Tuesday and Tuesday they still didn't have it running so today (Wenesday) I was told I could come and pick it up (Monday nor tuesday did they offer to bring me a loaner car.) I called back Wenesday and asked if they were going to wash and detail my car and the guy said, "We can Try" After I questioned me being a customer just like all the other detail jobs they have he stated "He would do his best" There is no merit to buying your car from this dealership if you are not one of their "Good ole boy" customers they do not do anything for you to encourage to continue to buy from them. The buying process is good to mediocre but the customer service is awful! I will not be buying another vehicle from this dealership. BEWARE!
Purchased a used diesel truck from this dealership. Requested that the oil, oil filter, and fuel filter be changed and requested a full wash of the truck prior to completing a deal. After they stated the truck was ready for pickup, the truck had not been washed at all (not a huge deal because I can wash a vehicle myself). After driving approximately 50 miles home, the truck would not start back up. After doing some troubleshooting, the fuel filter was installed incorrectly and leaking diesel fuel heavily. Not only did I have to repair something that should have been installed correctly, but I lost diesel fuel on the roadway for 50 miles. Furthermore, the same day, the check brake system light and ABS light came on. Upon more troubleshooting, the hydroboost had a blown gasket which was causing fluid to leak and the brakes to not operate correctly. Again, I had to fix this myself. Chevrolet dealership would have charged $800 for the repair and my local mechanic charged approximately $500 for the repair. These people won't stand behind a vehicle they sell, even if it is the same day with negligible mileage added since purchase. Needless to say, I'm displeased with having to repair something they should have installed correctly and spending $500 extra for a new hydroboost. The salesman seemed like a stand up guy, but I have reservations as to whether this dealership knew of the brake malfunction and instead applied a "stop leak" product to the fluid in order to stop the leak long enough for me to test drive and purchase the vehicle.
UPDATE: After speaking with the owner of this dealership, my confidence has not been restored. Furthermore, I am still out $500 and the dealership still uses stop leak products.
After repairs at this dealership, my radio/stereo panel lights no longer function correctly. There is a crack in the interior between the gear shift and the steering wheel. They also lied and said that I was told that they would only cover my car rental for a day. While I don't doubt that is their policy, I was not informed of that until over a week later.
