This motel needs an awful lot of work. Stayed here only beacuse there were no available places during the hurricane storm in early October 2016.
although this is not the most up to date place around it is by far the cleanest and the lady that works the front desk and cleans rooms is awesome. I have never met anyone as friendly and helpful as this lady was during our stay there. she was such a hard worker and it was obvious her whole heart was involved in making sure all guest were 100% satisfied. the owners should be very proud of the job this lady does for this property. will be going back very soon for a couple more months of stay, love it there.
We HAD to stay here during Hurricane Matthew as there was absolutely no availability anywhere south of Atlanta on I-75. My parent's room had to be opened with a crow bar (don't worry, they have a guy that does it for you). Our first room had a TV that didn't work, most light bulbs were gone, missing lamp shades, first room didn't have a smoke detector. Rooms smelled musty and like dirty feet. No hot water in one room. Our first room had a huge red stain on the box spring, there appears to have been a murder in this room. (Will provide pictures if able). Both bath tubs had paint/plaster peeling off. 2 washcloths and 2 towels for 4 people. No trash can in one room. No clocks in either room. Sheets were dingy and thin. I would avoid staying here at ALL cost.
This place is a health hazard, stained sheets, spiders and roaches used condoms in room, paint peeling and broken furniture... These are just some of the highlights. See attached photos. Run away from this place as fast as you can!!!!!!
Can't recommend this motel unless you're desperate.
The staff was very accomodating. Rooms were air conditioned. Bathroom tub needs a complete redue. Had a sheet covering the window in the room instead of a curtain. Bed was comfortable and clean. Understand this used to be a Knight's Inn. Owners need to spend some money and get this motel up to basic standard. Rating was barely a two star and that's stretching it.
